We will be taking a tour that will cover cities in Poland,Hungary, Austria,Slovak Republic,and the Czech Republic. I want to take plugs and a converter but would like to know what type of plug(s) to take. Do all of these countries use the two pronged plug with round tines? Thank you very much for you advice. J.

Yes, but some of those countries use grounded plugs- and not all cheap "european adapters" support them- certainly not some that area available in the UK. It's caught me ought before, so I now have a grounded adapter. (Didn't buy from the link below- but it shows the kind of adapters needed.)

I could also switch to a browser that has a spell-checker, but I won't- and I certainly can't be bothered installing either OS on my machine!
I won't even have to run windows on the mac I got the college to buy me- yippee! :)
